Trim the wick slightly each time before lighting for a slower, cleaner burn and use a wick trimmer to trim the wick beforehand, keeping it at roughly 0.5cm. At the time of the first burning, allow the wax to melt into a pool all the way to the edge to ensure an even burn throughout.
